Back to School Stationery

Personalised School Stationery

Personalised school stationery printing is perfect for professional settings where you really want to represent who you are. Having your branding printed on letterheads, complimentary slips and any postal correspondence can boost the formality of your stationery. Having clear branding on your letters to pupil’s homes can also help parents to easily identify school correspondence among the rest of their mail.

In addition, school branded pens can be the perfect reward for pupils who have earnt their pen licence.

Poster Printing

Promote your school values with poster printing boasting your school’s branding. This can help to reinforce what your school stands for and your expectations for pupils and teachers. It can also help to create the image of a structured environment, where values are prioritised for pupil’s best interests.

Custom Wallpaper

The benefit of decorating a school is that you can be entirely creative with lots of vivid colours and fun imagery. Custom wallpaper can decorate reception classrooms, staff rooms, school entrances and offices. The design for your custom wallpaper can be influenced by your pupils, the history behind your school name or an inspiring story.

Flyers

Does your school regularly host community events? Promote them to local residents with quality flyer printing. This can help to encourage more traffic to your events, such as open days, charity fun days or night school opportunities. Ensure all essential information is included, such as dates, times and where in the school the event is being held. Then, be creative with colours, fonts and graphics to communicate what your event is all about.

Teacher’s Stationery

Do you have new teachers coming on board this year? Gift them with back to school supplies to help them to feel welcomed on their first day. Our school stationery printing can include notebooks, folders or pens that they can use throughout their school day and which will look great on their desks!

This year National Stationery Week runs from the 24th-30th April, with a mission to highlight the importance of handwriting in our technological world. Run annually, the event will involve businesses, schools and communities to promote the benefits of writing alongside smartphones and other devices.

YouGov research commissioned by National Stationery Week reported that 94% of adults think that writing by hand is important. In addition, 86% of business managers expect candidates for jobs to be able to write by hand, as well as have keyboard skills. National Stationery Week stresses the value of handwriting especially for children, as a skill that should not be left behind in future learning.

handwriting for National Stationery Week

Why is handwriting so important?

  • It is a much more personal form of communication. In many cases writing by hand makes you think harder about what you are saying because you cannot so easily delete what’s been written.
  • The impact of a handwritten card, compliment slip or business invitation is stronger. The recipient will likely feel that more effort has gone into the handwritten version and it becomes a more valuable message.
  • Handwriting might also be better in the office, research has found. Studies have shown that subjects who take longhand notes with a pen and paper retain more conceptual knowledge than those who take notes using a laptop. The act of highlighting written-down notes is also beneficial for organisation and information processing.

How you can support the cause

To get involved in National Stationery Week, organisations will be taking on their Seven Days of Stationery challenge. It’s easy for companies to support the ‘writing matters’ cause by using their social media pages. Simply use the seven special hashtags over the week and get your office being creative with all things stationery!

For instance, on #PenAndPencilDay you could make a ‘pen only’ rule for you Monday meetings and jot down handwritten notes. For #ThankYouThursday, why not write a valued client or partner a handwritten card, or perhaps you could thank your staff with a considered written note?
